it was a really close race and I knew it would be.
It was obvious that Braun won it on offense.
Both guys were deserving in my opinion and I was happy for Braun.
The AL ROY was a pretty obvious choice in my opinion and the votes proved it. I saw Pedroia received 24 1st place votes in a landslide.
yea it was obvoius Braun won it on offense....it is blatantly obvious that he didn't win it with his defense and coming into it everybody know Tulo was a better defensive player and if Braun were to win it would then be for his Offensive Advantage, no matter how small it may be.
Both of their offensive stats are pretty even... so you cant say he won it obviously cuz of offense, (obviously being the key word). The determining factor should have been their play on defensive side. Plus the Rockies made the World Series so that should have helped.
i believe what grittysquirrels is trying to say, and correct me if i'm wrong, that Tulowitzki is by far the superior defensive player. So for Braun to win the ROY the only way could have won it is because of his offensive stats, therefore the word obviously would apply in this situaton. Hes not saying hes obviously better on offense is just that it is obvious it was the offense that decided the votes
